Jyotipur Child Development Center

Elisabeth Children’s Welfare Society in partnership with Compassion East India to work for the betterment of children in Pendra Road started Jyotipur Child Development Centre on August 2003, with the vision of empowering the poor students around Pendra Road. It strives to provide each and every child with everyday physical and spiritual requirements. It helps them to attain a better standard of living. It provides them with basic requirements like food, clothes and medicines. Apart from physical needs it emphasizes the spiritual development of children along with educational and emotional development to help children have better personality. They achieve this through four fold activities namely Spiritual, Cognitive, Physical and Socio-Emotional. Presently 297 children in day care who dwell around this centre are reaping the benefits of Jyotipur Child Development centre. It is as a whole contributing to the betterment of Church and Society in Jyotipur, Pendra Road.
